MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — After getting arrested while making content in Miami Beach, YouTuber Jack Doherty was out of jail Sunday morning.
It didn’t take long for him to start creating new content.
Doherty has millions of followers and subscribers across several social media platforms and is known for disruptive content.
According to the arrest report, it was around 3 a.m. Saturday when Doherty positioned himself in the middle of the street in the entertainment district.
Police said he repeatedly refused to follow officers’ commands, and body camera video shows the moment an officer searched him.
Police found drugs and charged him with two misdemeanors and a felony.
Now out of jail after posting his $3,500 dollar bond, Doherty returned to making content and mocking law enforcement.
The arrest has received backlash from officials.
Miami Beach Commissioner Joseph Magazine posted on social media saying Doherty will respect our men and women in blue.
