DAVIE, Fla. — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Broward County on Thursday morning.

It happened along the 3600 block of University Drive in Davie.

According to police, officers responded after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene by first responders, authorities said.

According to police, all involved parties remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The southbound lanes of University Drive were closed as traffic detectives investigated the crash.

Police have not provided any information regarding how many vehicles were involved and if there were any other reported injuries.
