FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A vehicle erupted in flames Thursday morning outside Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, leading to traffic issues.
According to a representative for the airport, the Departures (upper) level roadway was temporarily shut down due to the incident, but has since reopened.
Airport officials said drivers were able to use the Arrivals (lower) level instead during the closure to drop off or pick up passengers.
