MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A portion of I-95 was completely shut down by authorities on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, down power lines fell onto the roadway, causing the closure.

FHP has closed I-95 between Southwest Eighth Street and U.S. 1.

Officials estimate repair time to be completed sometime during the 2 p.m. hour.
