FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Long lines of traffic greeted travelers at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Monday.

Officials said so far, 165 flights had been delayed and 14 were cancelled.

Further south at Miami International Airport, officials said there had been 129 delayed flights and seven cancellations.

Some travelers told Local 10 News they are trying not to let the busy holiday travel crowds stress them out.

“No, no, no, (I try to) relax myself,” said Carmen, who was heading to Atlanta to visit her grandson. “If I get to go, I give thanks. I am there, so I’m alright.”
