Firefighters save 2 dogs after mobile home erupts in flames in northwest Miami-Dade Two dogs were saved after a mobile home erupted in flames in northwest Miami-Dade on Tuesday evening.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Firefighters rescued two dogs from a mobile home that caught fire Tuesday evening in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said 10 units responded to a first-alarm fire around 6:25 p.m. near the 3600 block of Northwest 30 Avenue.

They said crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the mobile home and deployed hose lines inside to knock down the flames.

The two dogs inside the home were safely rescued. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The American Red Cross was requested to assist residents displaced by the fire, officials said.
