MIAMI — Miami Police and Fire Rescue responded Thursday morning to a report of a possible body in a river.

Officers and firefighters were called to 340 W. Flagler Street around 9:45 a.m. Upon arrival, units located a body floating in the river.

Marine Patrol units were on scene, and fire rescue crews pronounced the person deceased.

No additional information, including the identity of the deceased, was immediately available.
