NAPLES, Fla. — A Florida man scored a $5 million prize playing the $5,000,000 CA$H MONEY scratch-off game, lottery officials announced earlier this week.

They said Agustin Garcia Guerrero, 58, of Labelle, claimed his prize at the Florida Lottery’s headquarters in Tallahassee on Dec. 8. He opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,053,000.

They said Garcia Guerrero purchased his winning ticket at Sunshine, located at 17100 Tamiami Trail E. in Naples.

The $20 scratch-off game offers four top prizes of $5 million, with over 7.3 million winning tickets and more than $328 million in cash prizes. Overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.93.

Scratch-off games make up roughly 74% of Florida Lottery ticket sales in the 2024-2025 fiscal year. Since the games’ inception, they have awarded more than $66.9 billion in prizes, created 2,350 millionaires, and generated more than $20 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
