PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — He grew up in the shadow of history, but he’s currently focused on what comes next.

Martin Luther King III is continuing a mission that began generations ago.

No matter where he goes, King makes sure to greet everyone.

He is the oldest of the two surviving children bearing his father’s name, traveling the world, still spreading his father’s message nearly six decades after his death.

Like his parents, King and his wife Arndrea Waters are working together on several initiatives.
