MIRAMAR, Fla. — A second arrest was made Thursday after a man was pistol-whipped and his French bulldog was stolen in Miramar, authorities confirmed.
Miramar police confirmed Sean Michael Hickey, 27, was taken into custody Thursday on charges of home invasion with a firearm and felony probation violation.
Another suspect, Juliana Serna, 21, was arrested earlier this month on charges of home invasion with a deadly weapon and possession of cocaine.

According to police, officers responded to an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Southwest 128th Terrace early in the morning on Jan. 5 after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.
When officers arrived, they found shell casings in the area and a male victim who had been pistol-whipped.
According to authorities, the victim was treated at the scene by Miramar Fire Rescue and has been cooperative in the investigation.
Police said the victim told officers that he was approached by several people who tried to enter his home, attacked him and took his French bulldog.
The dog was later found in the area, police confirmed.
Police said three people were involved in the incident and got into the complex through a hole in the fence.
As of Friday morning, Hickey was being held at the Broward County Main Jail without bond. Serna, meanwhile, was being held at the Paul Rein Detention Facility, also without bond.
Police are still searching for the third suspect.
Anyone with information about that person’s identity is asked to call the Miramar Police Department or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
