PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — On Monday, Miami-Dade County had an official high of 88 degrees that shattered the old record of 85 set back in 2017.
Now that the cold front has cleared, we are waking up to a chilly change with lows in the 50s and wind chill temperatures in the 40s.
Expect lots of sunshine and a strong north wind. Highs will only reach the upper 60s.
And those in South Florida will be layering up for much of this week. On Wednesday, temperatures dip down into the 40s and 50s again.
This weekend could bring some of the coldest air felt in South Florida in years, and that cold front will be something to keep an eye on as the week progresses.
