MIAMI — Zoo Miami was closed Friday due to an “unforeseen water main break,” the organization wrote in a post on X.

The zoo stated in a separate post that they will reopen on Saturday with normal operating hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and apologized for the inconvenience.
Sky 10 flew over the zoo on Friday afternoon, where the only noticeable activity was a pair of elephants strolling through an open enclosure.
No other details about the water main break were immediately released.
