HIALEAH, Fla. — Authorities have arrested a man who was wanted to breaking into slot machines.
The crime happened in November, at a business off Palm Avenue in Hialeah.
Police caught up to the suspect on Wednesday and took him into custody.
Video shows the suspect, identified as Juan Emilio Rodriguez, coming into the business with a hammer and going to town on the machines, stuffing money in his pockets once the machines were busted open.
Police said around $9,000 was taken, along with another $14,000-worth of damage to the machine itself.
Authorities said the suspect actually returned the stolen money, but he’s still facing charges.
