WEST PARK, Fla. — A severely damaged Broward Sheriff’s Office vehicle with its airbags seen deployed sat along Hallandale Beach Boulevard after detectives said an SUV slammed right into the driver’s side of the cruiser before speeding away.
It happened just before 3 a.m. Monday along Hallandale Beach Boulevard just east of State Road 7,
According to investigators, the driver of a black Cadillac Escalade sped out of the Playhouse Strip Club parking lot in West Park and hit the deputy’s vehicle.
