DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — A Deerfield Beach man is in custody after he was allegedly found with Molotov cocktails and ammunition inside of his apartment.

The suspect has been identified as 47-year-old Justin Messingham.

According to deputies, Messingham was also found with multiple firearms at his home along the 900 block of Crystal Lake Drive.

The investigation began when deputies received reports of a shots fired call, but no one was injured.

Messingham appeared in bond court where he was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.

He was later granted a $300,500 bond, but as of Monday evening he remained behind bars at the Broward County Main Jail.
