SUNRISE, Fla. — Sunrise police are investigating a deadly shooting after officers found a man dead Wednesday night.

According to police, officers responded around 8:04 p.m. to a report of a possible shooting in the 7600 block of Northwest 42nd Street. When they arrived, they found a man dead at the scene.

The investigation remains active and no additional details were immediately released.
