Officers served a search warrant Tuesday night at an apartment near 76th Street, where investigators said 34-year-old Ricardo Ramos-Vazquez lives.

Video from the scene shows Ramos-Vazquez being escorted out of the residence as Miami Beach police carried out the operation.

Police spokesperson Chris Bess said the investigation began after an anonymous tip about suspected drug activity involving Ramos-Vazquez.

Authorities said that on Jan. 27, Ramos-Vazquez met an undercover officer near the intersection of 76th Street and Dickens Avenue and sold meth within 1,000 feet of a synagogue, a school and nearby homes. Detectives said the sale involved multiple small bags of the drug.

During Tuesday’s search of the apartment, officers reported finding eight types of drugs, including cocaine, Xanax, methamphetamine, ecstasy and ketamine. Investigators also seized seven cellphones and an iPad, according to police.

Ramos-Vazquez appeared in court Wednesday, where a judge set his bond at nearly $80,000. Court records show he faces multiple drug-related charges as the investigation continues.
