DANIA BEACH, Fla. — A 29-year-old woman reported missing in Dania Beach on Wednesday was found dead later that evening, authorities confirmed in a press release Thursday.
Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit said Lisandra Loyola was found near the 600 block of East Dania Beach Boulevard, not far from where she was last seen earlier that morning.
A missing persons alert was issued for Loyola after she was last seen around 6 a.m. Wednesday in the same area.
BSO said their homicide unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. Investigators said no foul play is suspected at this time.
They said the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine Loyola’s cause and manner of death.
