FLORIDA CITY, Fla. — Police officers and deputies reported arresting four suspects on Wednesday in Florida City after a burglary and an armed robbery.

Police officers first responded to a car burglary, arrested an armed suspect, and searched for a second suspect in the area, according to the Florida City Police Department.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies with the Priority Response Team responded to arrest three suspects who were in an apartment near Northwest Seventh Avenue and 14 Street near Homestead.

A witness with Homestead Crimes shared two videos showing when a FCPD officer lifted crime scene tape to allow M-DSO patrol cars to get through.

Three of the four suspects arrested had been involved in an armed robbery on Tuesday night in the area, according to FCPD.

Detectives did not release the identities of the suspects as they continued to investigate the crimes.
