F1 Grand Prix releases transportation and entry details ahead of race weekend

Essential details to help you plan your Grand Prix experience

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Important details have been released ahead of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, taking place May 1-3.

Fans are strongly encouraged to plan their transportation in advance and arrive as early as possible.

There will be no parking available on-site without a pre-purchased parking pass.

All shuttles are free for ticketholders traveling to and from the Miami International Autodrome, and fans may be picked up or dropped off at these lots, regardless of whether they are parking a vehicle.

Parking lots will open 30 minutes before gates open.

Gates open Friday May 1 at 11:30 a.m.; Saturday May 2 at 10 a.m.; and Sunday May 3 at 8 a.m.

Race fans planning to use rideshare services such as Waymo, Uber, or Lyft are encouraged to be dropped off at one of the official shuttle locations.

There is also a strict bag policy.

Permitted items include clear plastic bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”, as well as small bags that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”.

Prohibited items include all purses or bags that exceed 12” x 6” x 12”, as well as non-clear bags that exceed 4.5” x 6.5”.
