MIAMI — A federal grand jury indicted five men in Miami over their alleged roles in a cocaine trafficking organization, federal prosecutors announced on Monday.

U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents tracked the cocaine from Colombia to “high-end fishing vessels” that had been traveling from the Dominican Republic to Miami, records show.

The case also included a search warrant that netted 536 kilos of that cocaine, $3.1 million in cash, and 14 weapons at an apartment in Miami’s Midtown neighborhood, records show.

Daniel “Mickey” Hernandez, Frank Gonzalez, Alexander “Al Biggs” Walker, Jose “Lil Cuz” Diaz, and Humberto “Kiki” Moreno each faced a charge of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.

Hernandez, 38, who Investigators identified as a key distributor, and Diaz, also known as “Pri,” 33, also face charges over distribution offenses.

Walker, 50, and Gonzalez, 45, also faced charges for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking, and possession of firearms and ammunition as convicted felons.

According to the Florida Department of Corrections, Walker was last released from prison on Nov. 20, 2022. He had been sentenced to 7 years in prison in 2018 for cocaine trafficking in 2012 and 2016.
