Detectives investigate man’s drowning in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, Fla. — Detectives were investigating a man’s drowning on Saturday afternoon in Lauderhill.

The Lauderhill Police Department, Lauderhill Fire Rescue, and the Sunrise Police Department’s dive team responded to the 5600 block of Enclave Place.

Witnesses told police officers shortly before 5:20 p.m. that a man had vanished underwater, and fire rescue personnel pronounced him dead after divers pulled him out, according to police.
