CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Ahead of Saturday’s highly anticipated showdown between the Florida Gators (1–2) and the No. 4 Miami Hurricanes (3–0) at Hard Rock Stadium, two-time Stanley Cup champion Matthew Tkachuk of the Florida Panthers joined the “College GameDay” desk on the campus at the University of Miami to make picks for select games.

Alongside Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban, Tkachuk offered analysis and made picks on the following games, both against the spread and straight up.

Tkachuk selected the following teams to cover in their respective games: Syracuse (at Clemson), Missouri (vs. South Carolina), and No. 7 Florida State (vs. Kent State).

Tkachuk also made a bold prediction, saying the “Canes will travel north in two weeks and “kick the (expletive) out of them.’”

Tkachuk also took No. 11 Oklahoma at home to knock off No. 22 Auburn, No. 9 Illinois to pull the upset on the road against No. 19 Indiana, No. 16 Utah over No. 17 Texas Tech and No. 21 Michigan to give Nebraska its first loss of the season.

Tkachuk, along with the rest of the GameDay desk, picked No. 4 Miami to take care of business tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Tkachuk also turned toward the crowd and held up a Hurricanes jersey, causing the crowd to go wild.
