MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Miami Dolphins announced Wednesday that tight end Darren Waller has been placed on injured reserve, while Greg Dulcich has been promoted from the practice squad to the team’s active roster.
Waller, 33, is expected to miss at least four games and tight ends Julian Hill and Tanner Conner are expected to see an increase in snaps with him on the sidelines.
The team also added tight end Chris Myarick to the practice squad.
Waller, who has scored four touchdowns in his last four games, has also recorded 10 catches for 117 yards this season.
He has appeared in 90 career games with 64 starts over nine NFL seasons with Baltimore, Oakland/Las Vegas, the New York Giants and Miami.
Dulcich has played in 21 career games with 10 starts over three seasons with Denver and the New York Giants, totaling 41 receptions for 464 yards and two touchdowns.
He was a third-round pick (80th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft out of UCLA, where he had 77 catches for 1,353 yards and 11 touchdowns in 33 games.
Myarick has played in 27 career games with 11 starts across three seasons with Miami and the New York Giants, recording 10 receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns. The tight end originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Miami in 2019 and played collegiately at Temple.
