CORAL GABLES, Fla. — As the Canes get ready to host Notre Dame, the honors keep on coming.
On Tuesday, quarterback Carson Beck was named to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Watch List.
The award is given to quarterback for both of-field performance and off-field character, leadership, and academic achievement.
Beck is also on the Walter Camp Player of the Year and Maxwell Award watch lists.
Beck transferred to the Canes from Georgia.
In 2023, he led the Bulldogs to a 13-1 record throwing for 3,941 yards and 24 touchdowns.
There are 58 quarterbacks on the Unitas watch list.
Beck and the Canes open the season on August 31 against Notre Dame at Hard Rock Stadium.
