MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Miami Dolphins may be in the market for a new head coach after all.
Miami seemingly was sticking with current head coach Mike McDaniel despite the team’s finishing with a losing record for the second straight season.
Things may have changed on Tuesday, though.
That’s because the Baltimore Ravens fired longtime head coach John Harbaugh.
He instantly becomes the most coveted coach on the open market.
Currently, there are seven NFL teams who are looking to hire a new coach, and the Dolphins are not one of them.
NFL Insider Josina Anderson thinks Miami could get in the mix though, as she reported that the Dolphins have expressed interest in Harbaugh recently.
I'm told that #Dolphins ownership has expressed an affinity for John Harbaugh recently, per league source.

We'll see if that appeal materializes into an opportunity, as the seat is not currently vacant.
Harbaugh will have multiple conversations at his door step. https://t.co/bixgyHSwIc
It would be an extremely bold move for Miami to pursue Harbaugh.
We’ll see how things play out in the coming days and weeks.
