MIAMI — South Florida muralist Kyle Holbrook has updated his iconic Miami Heat mural in Miami’s Wynwood area.

The refreshed artwork highlights the current Heat roster, the team’s defensive identity, and the evolution of the franchise.

Located on a Pinnacle Housing property, the mural was previously named “Best Mural of the Year” and has become one of Wynwood’s most photographed landmarks.

The update continues its role as a living tribute to Miami Heat culture, the community, and the city’s creative identity.

At the building’s highest point, about 55 feet above the street and facing downtown Miami, a new visual element has been added: a Miami-style street sign reading Miami Wade County sits beside a 60-foot portrait of Dwyane Wade, honoring his legacy and connecting the mural to Miami’s cultural landscape, according to Holbrook.

Forward Norman Powell is now positioned at the top of the mural, highlighting his impact and consistency this season.

A new defensive section also features guard Davion Mitchell as half dog, half human, guarding a fence, symbolizing intensity and elite defense, while center Bam Adebayo stands behind him as the anchor of Miami’s defense.

Holbrook said forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. was been completely repainted and expanded to nearly 20 feet, reflecting his growing role and strong fan connection.

Other roster updates include the removal of Terry Rozier and the replacement of Duncan Robinson with Simone Fontecchio, adding an international touch to the mural.
