MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — As the Miami Dolphins continue to bolster their roster for the 2026 season, the team signed two players to their special teams unit Friday.

Long snapper Tucker Addington and punter Seth Vernon were the latest signings, joining a unit that lost kicker Jason Sanders, long snapper Joe Cardona and punter Jake Bailey in free agency.

Addington has appeared in 10 career games in three season with New England (2022, 2024), Washington (2023) and Miami (2024).

He played collegiately at Sam Houston State, where he appeared in 34 games in four seasons with the Bearkats (2016-19).

Vernon, with Bailey moving on to the Atlanta Falcons, does not have any NFL experience. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Atlanta in 2022, spending the offseason and training camp with Minnesota before spending time on the practice squad for Tampa Bay in 2024.

He spent last season with the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League (UFL).

The Dolphins also signed wide receivers Tutu Atwell and Jalen Tolbert to one-year deals, safety Zayne Anderson, lineman Jamaree Salyer, and cornerback Marco Wilson Friday.
