CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The Miami Hurricanes football program begins a new chapter under quarterback Darian Mensah with a season-opening matchup at Stanford on Sept. 4 at 9 p.m. ET.

On Tuesday, the Hurricanes announced the game themes for each of their seven home games at Hard Rock Stadium.

In honor of National Veterans and Military Families Month, the school says it will host a “Salute to Service” game featuring festivities inside and outside Hard Rock Stadium that recognize veterans and pay tribute to those who serve and those in training to serve. The team is expected to wear special uniform tops and pants for the game.
