COOPER CITY, Fla. — Cooper City is off to a 3-0 start after cruising past Taravella, 41-0, in the latest high school football action.

The Cowboys got on the board in the first quarter when fullback Ricky Martin took an inside handoff, lowered his shoulder and powered his way into the end zone.

That gave Cooper City a 7-0 lead.

In the second quarter, Nick Dyer rolled out and dumped the ball off to sophomore Demario Dixon, who did the rest. Dixon found the end zone to put the Cowboys up 21-0.

Cooper City kept rolling from there, finishing with a 41-0 win and improving to 3-0 on the season.
