MIAMI — Palmetto and Columbus squared off at Southridge in your High School Spotlight.

Palmetto struck first on a long touchdown run by Aiden Butler.

Columbus answered with Kai Moore rolling out and finding Ahmad Summerall for a touchdown.

Moore connected with his five-star wide receiver A-Mir Sears on a touchdown down the sideline to cap another scoring drive.

Palmetto went on to win 34-7.

In Broward, the No. 1 team in the country visited Dillard, and St. Thomas Aquinas wasted little time showing why.

The Raiders scored 35 points in the first quarter, including a 50-yard touchdown from Blake Calixte to Julius Jones Jr.

The duo connected again later as St. Thomas Aquinas cruised to a 49-0 victory and improved to 4-0.
