Amanda first came to Miami in 2006 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mass communications at Florida International University with an area of concentration in photography.
Amanda began her journalism career writing for FIU’s Beacon newspaper before interning at NBC 6 and then working as a writer at WSVN.
She came to Local 10 News in November 2012 as a producer before transitioning to the web team in spring 2014.
When she isn’t working, Amanda enjoys traveling, baking, crocheting and spending time with her husband and their two sons.
