South Florida will be feeling record heat this afternoon. A switch in our wind direction from the Everglades will allow temperatures to reach several degrees warmer than yesterday. Highs will peak around 86°, which is the record for Miami today. A stray light shower is possible late today but many will stay dry with rain chances no higher than 20%.
