Jan. 24: South Florida warms up while winter rages elsewhere

While about half of the country is dealing with wicked winter weather—including heavy snow, ice, and arctic cold — it’s a very different world here in South Florida, a.k.a. paradise.

January 18: Warm start will give way to showers, cooler temperatures

While winter weather warnings and advisories are in effect for parts of North Florida, we’re looking for some showers to roll in to South Florida today as the next cold front is on the move.

Jan. 17: Warming up after cold snap; cold front brings brief cool down

Happy holiday weekend! It’s warming up out there after the coldest air in a few years yesterday. Look for a mix of clouds and sun, with highs climbing into the mid-70s later today — very close to normal for mid-January.

January 11: Warm Sunday with cold weather on horizon

If you plan on making your Sunday a Funday you better wear shorts and t-shirts because we’re going to close in that record high of 84 today!

Jan. 10: Warm weekend ahead before series of cold fronts move in

Big changes are on the way over the next five to seven days, with a series of cold fronts moving through the area next week.

Jan 4: Possible Sunday Showers

A weak front will be moving through South Florida today getting us a 20% chance of a passing shower or two.

Jan. 3: Warming trend returns ahead of weak cold front

We’ve turned the corner on our recent blast of cold weather, with winds shifting into the southwest on Saturday and boosting our highs into the mid-70s by this afternoon.

Dec. 29: Arctic front ends 80-degree heat, cooler weather arrives

Big changes are on the way as we ring in the new year in a few days. Look for one more warm day on Monday, with highs in the 80s, but that will be the last time we see 80-degree temperatures for at least a week as an Arctic cold front moves in on Tuesday.

Dec. 27: Fantastic weekend weather before a cool down

After all the running around this holiday season, we get a chance to decompress with fantastic weather this weekend!

December 21: Pleasant Sunday with possible showers, wind coming from the east

If you have any outdoor plans or last-minute Christmas shopping to do today, you should be on the lookout for passing showers as the winds come in off the ocean.

Dec. 20: Great weather for last-minute holiday shopping

It’s the final weekend before Christmas. If you have any last-minute shopping to do, the weather looks good!

Dec. 14: Showers move out, gusty winds and drier conditions ahead

Showers that moved in overnight and early Sunday morning are now moving out, and we’ll see several hours of drier weather before the next chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms arrives later today.

Dec. 13: Increasing clouds with rain and storms tonight

High pressure that has given us dry, pleasant weather lately is moving away, and the next weathermaker is on the way.
