Oct. 11: Cold front brings cooler, drier air to South Florida

The season’s first cold front has cleared South Florida, bringing a stretch of pleasant weather through at least the middle of next week. Temperatures will remain warm, with highs in the mid-80s, but humidity levels will be lower. Overnight lows could dip into the upper 60s in the western suburbs over the next few nights.

Sept. 20: This final weekend of summer will be hot and humid

This final weekend of summer will be hot and humid for SoFlo with highs in the lower 90s both days and the “feels like” in the upper 90s. Scattered showers and t’storms will be more likely in the morning hours leaving us with lots of sunny breaks from midday through the afternoon hours with most late-day storms occurring well to our west by that time. Although there’s a chance for a shower or storm for tailgaters this evening the weather for the big game between the Canes and Gators looks warm and dry at Hard Rock Stadium for that 7:30PM kickoff. Rain chances increase by early next week before drier air arrives again toward the second half of the week. There are no tropical threats for us through the next 5-7 days. Have a great weekend!
