Ryan Mackey is a Digital Journalist at WPLG.
He was born on Long Island, New York and has lived in Sunrise, Florida since 1994.
After graduating with a Multimedia Journalism degree from Florida Atlantic University, WPLG became Ryan’s first opportunity to work in the newsroom.
Ryan has previously worked as an Executive Producer for FAU Athletics at Fox Sports 640 in West Palm Beach.
He was married on Nov 12, 2022, and has two boys that keep him on his toes at all times.
While working in radio, Ryan has produced NCAA Division 1 championship games, multiple bowl games, The Andy Slater Show and New Country 103.1’s Rib Round Up.
When he isn’t working, Ryan enjoys traveling, dancing, poker, watching Miami Dolphins games, winning fantasy championships, playing the violin and spending time with friends and family.
