This Week in South Florida: Evan Power

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Sex scandals are old news in politics, but at the moment, the chair of the Republican Party of Florida is at the center of one that also involves criminal allegations of rape, which he denies.

Even so, as a big election year begins, Christian Zeigler has been stripped of his power and his salary and on Monday he may face a vote to replace him.

The party vice chair, Evan Power, who is now serving as interim, is among those running for that position.

He also chairs the Leon County Republican Party in Tallahassee.

Power joined This Week in South Florida host Glenna Milberg to discuss, and their conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
