PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — There have been more than 1,000 bills filed during the latest Florida Legislative Session.

Fifteen have passed by both the House and the Senate, ready for the signature of Gov. Ron DeSantis.

State Rep. Juan Carols Porras is a Republican who represents parts of Miami-Dade County and State Rep. Kevin Chambliss is a Democrat who also represents parts of Miami-Dade County.
