When it comes to traveling, especially on a plane, you’ll definitely catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, as the old saying goes -- meaning, in simple terms, it pays to be nice.

According to a report by the American Automobile Association, 53.4 million people plan to travel 50 miles or more by car, plane, train, bus or cruise over the Thanksgiving weekend, a 13 percent increase from 2020.

As of May 18, TSA checkpoint numbers have surpassed 27.5 million passengers.
