Bob Dylan has been telling stories through songs for 60 years. The most comprehensive exhibition of the Nobel laureateās visual art to be held in the U.S. goes on display on Tuesday in Miami at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum. Forty new pieces by the 80-year-old songwriter will be showcased for the first time. The exhibition with more than 180 acrylics, watercolors, drawings and ironwork sculptures will kick off the same week as Art Basel Miami Beach and will run through April 17 with no future stops announced yet.

Judge Barry Ostrager of the Supreme Court of New York agreed with Dylan and Universal Music Publishing Groupās lawyers. The court also noted that Levyās estate has continued to receive royalties from the co-written songs, before and after Dylanās catalog sale, set at 35 percent, with no ownership conferred. He was also instrumental in the creation and direction of Dylanās 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue tour. The Levy lawyers had contended that his agreement with Dylan was āatypicalā and stood apart from similar publishing agreements.

The Nobel Prize-winning songwriter has sold publishing rights to his catalog of more than 600 songs, one of the greatest treasures in popular music, to the Universal Music Publishing Group, it was announced on Monday. Tambourine Man,ā Jimi Hendrixās reworking of āAll Along the Watchtowerā and Adeleās cover of āMake You Feel My Love.āEvents have conspired to make song publishing a more valuable asset. Given the pace of change in the industry, āsongs seem to be the place to place your bets,ā Light said. Dylan's songs, however, will long outlive him.

The collection included transcripts of Glover's 1971 interviews with Dylan and letters the pair exchanged. The interviews reveal that Dylan had anti-Semitism on his mind when he changed his name from Robert Zimmerman, and that he wrote āLay Lady Layā for Barbra Streisand. Included in the auctioned items were lyrics Dylan penned after visiting folk legend Woody Guthrie in May 1962.

Why millennials may shrug at the stock market's troubles
As a personal finance reporter at CNBC, when the stock market drops, as it has from the coronavirus outbreak, I write stories reminding our readers to remain focused on their long-term goals and to resist panic. Fewer than a third of millennials, often considered those born between 1981 and 1996, are saving in a 401(k) retirement plan, according to Charles Schwab's 2019 Modern Wealth Survey. "I don't even know why or how a stock market crash would affect me waking up, going to work and living my life," she said. Millennials earn 20% less than baby boomers did at a similar age, according to a recent report, "The Emerging Millennial Wealth Gap," from nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank New America. All of this means fewer young people are able to put their money into the stock market.
