Police records show that a longtime aide to former President Donald Trump was arrested in 2021 after he was accused of repeatedly groping two women in a nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona.

It was a routine part of a federal court hearing: The defendant was told not to discuss the case with any witnesses without lawyers present.

A lawyer who quit Donald Trump’s legal team this past week is attributing his decision to strategy disagreements with a close adviser to the former president.
