The magazine revealed the cover Wednesday of the annual issue, which hits newsstands Friday. Teigen, who is of Thai-Norwegian descent, said she wants to follow her Thai tradition in remembering her son, Jack, who died at 20 weeks of her pregnancy. As Teigen grew older, she saw more racism occur during her modeling career. She wrote in a final series of posts that criticism she'd endured on the site had left her “deeply bruised.”

Chrissy Teigen delivers heartfelt essay on miscarriage
LOS ANGELES – Chrissy Teigen wrote a heartfelt message about the recent loss of her third child with husband John Legend. Teigen delivered the essay in a Medium post Tuesday. In Tuesday’s post, Teigen wrote that her doctors diagnosed her with a partial placental abruption. Teigen said her decision to take and post photos of the process was met with some support and criticism. She said Legend was “very hesitant” to take the photos, but she felt the need to share their story.

Guitar rock legend Eddie Van Halen, who died last week, was honored as the show aired a clip of his Billboard Awards performance from 2015. This year’s Billboard Awards were originally supposed to take place in April but were postponed because of the pandemic.

Chrissy Teigen said she and John Legend are in “deep pain” following her miscarriage, which she announced in a heart wrenching social media post. Teigen wrote that they were "driving home from the hospital with no baby. “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. It just wasn’t enough,” she wrote in a post late Wednesday, alongside a picture of herself in tears on a hospital bed. Legend retweeted her post, adding “We love you, Jack.”Teigen announced she was pregnant with her third child in August.
DeGeneres vows candor as clouded talk show charts its return
LOS ANGELES Ellen DeGeneres says she'll be ready to talk when her daytime show returns this month after a staff shake-up prompted by allegations of a toxic workplace. And, yes, were gonna talk about it, DeGeneres said in a statement announcing the show's Sept. 21 start of its 18th season. Tiffany Haddish will join DeGeneres for the kick-off episode, with The Ellen DeGeneres Show to be taped at Warner Bros. minus an in-studio audience, which is commonplace during the pandemic. Stephen tWitch Boss, a longtime guest DJ on the show and among those who have publicly supported DeGeneres, will guest host some fall episodes. Last month, three of the show's producers exited amid allegations of a dysfunctional workplace that harbored misbehavior including sexual misconduct and racially insensitive remarks.

But now that it is passed, people that had virtually nothing to do with it are taking the praise," the President tweeted late Sunday night. Then Trump went after singer and activist John Legend (who appeared in the MSNBC town hall) and his wife Teigen. By Monday morning, Chrissy Teigen, #TeamChrissy and #filthymouthedwife were all trending on Twitter. Anthony Scaramucci, Trump's former communications director who has now disavowed the President, on Monday called the spat between Trump and the celebrity couple "despicable."

Chrissy Teigen, David Chang getting their own cooking show on Hulu
Fans of Chrissy Teigen's two wonderful cookbooks rejoice: the model-turned-cooking star is getting her own food show on Hulu, alongside David Chang, the man behind the popular Momofuku restaurant company. Teigen and Chang's show will be called "Family Style," which will have "an emphasis on how food fosters familial and social connections." Fingers crossed that Teigen's mother will make apperances on the new show, just like she does in Teigen's cookbooks. Chang is also the perfect partner for the show, as he has hosted his own show on Netflix called "Ugly Delicious." We're not sure when we can expect Teigen and Chang's new show, or any of the other original cooking programs for Hulu, but we do know our stomachs will be ready when it premieres.
