Smith performed six songs as well as read poetry and excerpts from her book “Just Kids” in the Beaux-Arts Court at the museum, her voice bouncing off the skylight 60 feet above. It was a concert to also honor museum workers and drew just under 50 people, all socially distanced in widely spaced chairs. The Smith concert came on the same day in 1989 that Mapplethorpe died at age 42. It also marked the one-year anniversary of when Smith last performed live, at The Fillmore in San Francisco.

Some people really want Elsa to come out in 'Frozen 2'

The whole gang returns in the highly-anticipated sequel "Frozen 2." The theory got even bigger once social media started circulating a story by NPC Daily headlined "IT'S OFFICIAL: Disney announces Elsa will be a lesbian in Frozen 2" in March. The problem was NPC Daily is a satire site and the story is totally not true. Elsa's struggle to come to terms with her powers in "Frozen" marked her as both a feminist and an outsider. And don't look to the woman who voices Elsa, actress Idina Menzel, to be able to tell us either.

'Frozen 2' soundtrack to feature Panic! at the Disco, more

Disney via CNN(CNN) - "Frozen 2" will feature some very interesting music choices. Demi Lovato had covered "Let It Go" on the end credits to the first "Frozen" movie. Other artists on the soundtrack include Kacey Musgraves singing "All is Found" and Weezer singing "Lost in the Woods." Additional songs include titles, "Some Things Never Change," "When I Am Older," and "Show Yourself." The sequel's soundtrack will be released on Nov. 15.
