It's official: Dolphins deal Minkah Fitzpatrick to Steelers

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Miami Dolphins have traded last year's first-round draft pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers. A news release Tuesday confirmed the reports that safety Minkah Fitzpatrick had been dealt. In return for Fitzpatrick, the Dolphins will receive a 2020 first-round pick, along with a fifth-round pick in next year's draft and a sixth-round pick in 2021. Fitzpatrick started 13 of the 18 games in which he played for Miami, totaling 90 tackles and two interceptions.

As for his younger children, Fitzpatrick said, "They don't know what the score is, they just know that they think they saw dad out there." Head coach Brian Flores has made it clear that Fitzpatrick remains the Dolphins starting quarterback, ahead of Josh Rosen.

2012: Art Modell, the businessman, entrepreneur and former National Football League team owner best known for moving the original Cleveland Browns to Baltimore, where they became known as the Ravens, dies at age 87 in Baltimore. Modell owned the Browns from 1961 to 1995, when he struck a deal with the NFL and the city of Cleveland that allowed him to move his team while relinquishing ownership of the Browns' name, colors, logos and history, paving the way for a new Cleveland Browns team that resumed play in 1999.
