Veteran 9/11 first responders continue to face health challenges 24 years later

It has been 24 years since 2,977 people died after extremists hijacked and crashed commercial jet airliners on Sept. 11, 2001, and Miami-Dade County residents marked the anniversary on Thursday with ceremonies and a run.
