Man accused of trying to avoid Miami checkpoint related to Vance visit faces ICE hold

Miami police officers were working with the U.S. Secret Service along the Venetian Causeway during Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit on Wednesday when Tobias Gonzalez approached a checkpoint, according to police.
