MIAMI – The Miami Marlins’ ballpark officially has a new name: loanDepot park. WATCH A REPLAY OF THE NEWS CONFERENCE BELOW:The Miami Marlins’ ballpark is getting a new name: loanDepot park. “We’re excited to welcome fans back for Opening Day at loanDepot park,” Marlins CEO Derek Jeter said in a statement. Because of COVID-19, loanDepot park will be limited to about 25% capacity, or a little more than 9,000 people, for Opening Day on Thursday. Jeter was also asked if the new naming rights might allow the team to spend more freely on players.
