MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – One person was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle and a school bus collided head-on near Sweetwater.
The crash was reported in the area of Northwest 12th Street and 127th Avenue.

Sky 10 was above the scene at 4:53 p.m. after the entire top of a white vehicle had been removed. The school bus also had significant front-end damage.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed that one adult had to be extricated and was transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
According to Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the white vehicle had jumped into the median and crashed into the bus.
MDCPS reported that there were a few students inside the bus at the time, but the students and driver were OK.
