King Tides will continue to cause localized flooding in spots through the weekend although the flooding will become less impactful in the days ahead as we’re no longer in a full moon and those easterly winds are also easing up a bit. The season’s first cold front is still on target to arrive across South Florida Saturday morning with a noticeable change in our weather after that. Scattered to numerous showers & storms are likely today and tomorrow before that cooler, drier air arrives for the weekend. For some, overnight lows might dip into the upper 60s by Sunday morning (especially western suburbs). It looks like a stretch of beautiful weather will then extend at least into the middle of next week. For now though, keep the umbrellas handy with those storms in the forecast for a couple of more days.
