Happy holiday weekend! It’s warming up out there after the coldest air in a few years yesterday. Look for a mix of clouds and sun, with highs climbing into the mid-70s later today — very close to normal for mid-January.
Another quick cool down is on the way, however, as I’m tracking our next cold front, due to arrive later tomorrow. There might be a passing shower or two with the front, but otherwise it’s mainly dry through the holiday on Monday.
Speaking of Monday, it’ll start chilly for the parade, with temperatures in the lower 50s and only climbing into the upper 60s by afternoon. The weather for the big game Monday night looks perfect for football: dry, breezy conditions with temperatures in the 60s.
Sidenote: there might be some snow in North Florida early tomorrow morning — maybe an inch of slushy accumulation in Tallahassee and Panama City — before it pushes into Georgia and South Carolina by afternoon. That’s January in Florida… anything goes!
