January 18: Warm start will give way to showers, cooler temperatures

While winter weather warnings and advisories are in effect for parts of North Florida, we’re looking for some showers to roll in to South Florida today as the next cold front is on the move. Highs will make it close to 80 degrees before the front knocks us back into the 40s and 50s overnight.

That’ll set us up for a sunny, but cool day for the holiday tomorrow with temps in the 60s for the MLK parade and the big championship game tomorrow night. Dry weather will then prevail heading into midweek with temperatures warming up again followed by our next chance of rain by around Thursday and Friday.
